Welcome to Nyle Design Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Provided
Atlas Designs BCIN Inc. provides architectural drawings, structural drawings, mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and building permit application services for residential and commercial projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
2. Project Contracts
We will provide a formal contract for each project we are hired for. This contract will outline the specific scope of work, deliverables, timelines, payment terms, and any other project-specific terms and conditions. The formal contract will supersede these general terms for the specific project in question.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about the project, property, and any existing conditions.
- Obtaining necessary property surveys and existing floor plans where applicable.
- Timely responses to requests for information or approvals.
- Ensuring that all work performed by contractors is in accordance with approved drawings.
4. Revisions and Changes
Minor revisions may be included in the project scope. Significant changes or additional work beyond the agreed scope will be subject to additional fees, as outlined in the project contract or through written agreement.
5. Permit Approval
While we work diligently to ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes and regulations, we cannot guarantee permit approval as final decisions rest with municipal authorities. We will work with you to address any examiner notices or requests for revisions.
6. Intellectual Property
All drawings, plans, and documents created by Atlas Designs remain our intellectual property. Clients are granted a license to use these documents for the specific project for which they were created. Unauthorized reproduction or use for other projects is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services. We are not responsible for construction defects, contractor errors, or any issues arising from work not performed by our firm. We carry professional liability insurance as required by our professional designation.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate services as outlined in the project contract. In the event of termination, payment will be due for all work completed up to the date of termination.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
10. Contact Information
Our services are for property owners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will say so prominently on this page.
